Biography
Flamourakis Manthos - MD, MSc General Surgeon - Heraklion

Manthos Flamourakis, MD, MSc was born in Heraklion, Crete. He graduated from the Medical School of the Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli and then completed his military service at the Naval Hospital of Crete, in the Department of Surgery.

His specialization in General Surgery was carried out at the General Hospital of Agios Nikolaos, the Cancer Hospital “Agios Savvas” and the Venizelio Pananeio Hospital, where he obtained comprehensive training in the management of emergency and routine surgical cases.

In 2015 he received the title of specialty in General Surgery. From 2015 to 2022, he worked as a General Surgeon at Venizelio Pananeio Hospital, participating in more than 2,000 surgical procedures, gaining significant experience in both emergency and planned surgery.

In 2021, he completed the Postgraduate Program in "Colorectal Surgery" of the Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly, delving into the modern treatment of diseases of the colon and proctology.
